
Detoxification and Stress-Reduction Retreat for Executives
Toxins and stress in the body cause brain fog, low energy, inability to focus, weight gain along with a myriad of other health problems. Become a more effective leader by clearing the mind and body of environmental chemicals and emotional and mental stress. This is a concentrated 3 day intensive, designed to quickly and safely begin you on a path of cleansing your body's systems. Through vegetable juicing, organic eating and specific yoga kriyas and meditations, you can purify and detoxify while at the same time, learn tools to take home and continue in your program. Instruction and teachings are concise, time-tested and effective.

Yoga Sessions Kundalini Yoga has been taught for centuries as a way to connect with your intuition, higher aspects of knowing and your innate healing system. By engaging in a practice of yoga, you are giving yourself the ability to come into balance, create a peaceful existence and learn to resonate with your inner self. Upon reaching this inner state of awareness, your life becomes more of your conscious creation.
Kundalini yoga is also a tool for emotional and physical detoxification and can help you to remove negativity and cleanse toxins from the body. You have the option of taking one or two yoga sessions each day; early morning Sadhana and early evening session.
Sadhana
The word Sadhana means a practice or self-discipline that allows one to experience the infinite in one's self. In the yogic scriptures it is said that if you devote 1/10 of your day to Sadhana, the rest of the day will be taken care of by the returning energy that you have generated. Sadhana is done before sunrise because the angle of the sun to the earth at that time is very good for meditation. Also there is more
prana, (life force) at this time, and the body rhythms are most set to receive and utilize the energies. Sadhana is a powerful practice for clearing fears and anxieties.
Organic Living SeminarsFocuses on food, household, and living practices to help clear chemicals out of your system. Toxic chemicals permeate almost every part of our lives, but through conscious living, you can learn how to reduce toxicity in your life to improve health, allergies, energy levels and mood, and longevity.
NatureThe Menla Retreat Center is set in a mountainous, woodsy setting with rivers, streams and sacred altars peppering the landscape. It is truly a magical place. A 1 hour group hike is optional.
Organic AccommodationsThe Menla Retreat center has an incredibly serene, spiritual, healing energy and has all organic beds, mattresses and linens as well as using only non-toxic cleaning products. The center is owned by The Tibet House in NYC, and The Dalai Lama holds conferences and stays at Menla Retreat on occasion.
Organic Meals The Chef at Menla, who previously owned a vegetarian restaurant in Brooklyn, NY, prepares all local, organic vegetarian food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in cost, as well as freshly prepared organic vegetable juice each morning.
AmenitiesMassage & Sauna must be booked within 2 weeks before retreat.
Massage: $85 for 1 hour Sauna: $12 per ½ hour session
Tennis courts, additional walking trails, cafe and bookstore are also available on premises.
